Welcome to the

Concord Scout House

A unique resource in the heart of

Historic Concord Massachusetts

The Concord Scout House is located at 74 Walden Street in downtown Concord, Massachusetts and is available to the public for rental.

The hall will comfortably seat up to 200 and its stage can be used by a speaker, band, or theatrical group. The Concord Scout House is an eighteenth century barn that was completely renovated and rededicated in 1930 as a Scout meeting hall. It has been the site of public dances for more that 40 years.

NEFFA Thursday Night Contra Dance

The NEFFA Thursday Night Contra Dance moved to The Concord Scout House in Concord, MA, on Thursday, August 3, 2006.

Click on News & Events for details.

The Scout House relies on the generous contributions of its community of users to maintain the building. In 2004 and 2005, the Scout House spent about $45,000 for capital repairs and improvements.

We need your help to replenish the Concord Scout House building fund, so that the challenges of maintaining this 18th century building can be met promptly in the future. We hope to raise $45,000, and more, from all users of the building to match the expenditures over the last 18 months.

See the President's remarks from the Annual Members' Meeting on June 14, 2006.
