Notes

  • Rental times must include all set-up time prior and clean-up time after the event. When renting for an event please include all the time that you will need.

  • The must end by and must be empty by times are prerequisites for using the Hall.

  • Friday afternoon events that go past 6 P.M. will be charged the night rate ($90/hour) for every hour.

  • Overtime penalties (late charges) will be incurred at the rate of $5.00 per minute.

  • All events must end no later than 10:30 P.M. on Sunday through Thursday nights and 11 P.M. on Friday and Saturday nights. No music, dancing, etc. is permitted after that time.

  • The House must be vacant and clean-up must be completed no later than 11 P.M. on Sunday through Thursday nights and 11:30 P.M. on Friday and Saturday nights.

  • Childrens' parties require at least 1 adult for each 6 children attending.

Keyholder and Other Special Fees

  • Keyholder Services: $75.00 per event
    All events with alcohol require the services of a Concord Scout House Keyholder to open the building at the beginning of the rental period and to lock up the building at the end of the rental period.

    If no alcohol is used, this fee can be refunded; arrangements to pick up the key at the office must be made ahead of time. Fee is returned once the key is in the office.

    All renters are responsible for the House during their event and may not leave it unattended.

  • Fireplace Fee: $75.00 per event
    Use of the fireplace is only available by reservation. You are responsible for bringing in your own firewood.

    The custodian will open the fireplace flue before the event and extinguish and clean the fireplace after the event. The renter is responsible for firewood, starting the fire, and monitoring the fire throughout the event. Only seasoned firewood or artificial logs designed for fireplace usage are allowed.

    Do not use water in the fireplace. Water damage to the fireplace, floors, or Hall will be charged to the renter.

  • Overtime penalties (late charges): $300 per hour and are incurred at the rate of $5.00 per minute.

  • Alcohol usage: No additional per event fee, however if alcohol is to be served during your event, you must review and comply with the "Requirements and Guidelines for Alcoholic Beverages" which is sent to you with your contract.

Terms

  • Rental Deposit: A non-refundable Rental Deposit (either 50% of the total fee or $150, whichever is larger) is due with the signed contract.

    When a signed rental contract is submitted within 30 days of an event, the entire fee must be submitted with the signed contract.

  • Security Deposit: no more than $250. This fee will be refunded after the event and after the hall is inspected.

  • Final Payment: This is the balance of the Rental fee and is due 30 days before the Rental Date.
